About Me

Sterling Street is a professional actor and teaching artist who loves being a storyteller. He holds an MFA in Acting from The University of Central Florida. He began his professional career as a Resident Actor and the Marketing Director at Greenville Theatre. As a part of the Greenville Theatre Resident Acting Company, he performed in numerous main stage productions and toured Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day: The Musical, performing across the Southeast with over 100 shows.

 

Sterling has been performing professionally for over 16 years in numerous musicals, plays, industrials and short films. He recently wrapped production on "Dream On" a short film shot in Orlando, FL.

 

A few of his favorite professional theatre credits include: Into The WoodsDreamgirlsBreaking Up is Hard to DoPeter and The StarcatcherHairspray and It's a Wonderful LifePreviously, he was a director and teacher at Artios Academies of Greenville, where he directed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang The Musical and Assistant Directed Wait Until Dark. He has been a Teaching Artist with Orlando Repertory Theatre, Garden Theatre, Greenville Theatre, Bob Jones University, and Covenant Day School. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, any activity in nature, and supporting his friends as they create their art.
